What is the mechanism of action behind the hep-B vaccine injected during the initial newborn care?

- you need to do your own home work my friend ......what kind of medical professional are you going to be if you have to rely on lay people for medical knowledge ( that you, can look up in your book).
- AHHHH! Please do not do this to your newborn, if that is what you are asking. Children will not need this vaccine, if the mother is not Hep B positive. Do you think that your child will be having unprotected sex with someone that has Hep B, will they be playing with needles? This is the worst vaccine to give a baby..... they do not need it..... They also say that it wears off within ten years and will need more, so will your 10 year old be sexually active, you might want to wait! http://www.thinktwice.com/ http://www.nvic.org/state-site/state-exemptions.htm http://www.vaclib.org/index.htm http://www.mercola.com/article/vaccines/neurological_damage.htm http://www.informedchoice.info/cocktail.html http://www.vaccines.bizland.com/links.htm http://www.laleva.org/eng/2006/03/dont_vaccinate_before_you_educate.html http://operator11.com/shows/4166/episodes/21311
- It's insane to shoot up a newborn with an unnecessary vaccine like that. Can you believe they are doing this to our babies at birth now? Hep B is a SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE!! It transmits the same way AIDS does. My newborn will not be having unprotected sex or doing illicit IV drugs anytime soon, so I'll pass. I'm not sure what you mean by the "mechanism of action." But either way this should not be done to our babies.
